神戸マラソンは、関西を代表する市民マラソンで、毎年多くのランナーが参加する大規模イベントです。
そのランナーたちのコンディションを支えるのが、給水ポイントに配置される 水・ポカリスウェット・バナナなどの補給物資 です。
今年、この重要な物資輸送を、当社ニュートラルが担当させていただきました。
今回は 数台のエアサス4トン車 を投入し、前日の積込みから大会当日の納品、さらに大会終了後の回収作業まで、一連の業務を安全確実に遂行いたしました。
大会前日は、神戸港・摩耶ふ頭にある倉庫へ集合。
倉庫内には、水・ポカリスウェット、紙コップ、バナナ、備品類などが、カゴ台車に整然と並べられていました。
イベント輸送では、前日準備の精度が全体を左右する と言われています。
そのため当社では、以下を徹底して作業を行いました。

特に神戸マラソンは給水ポイントが多いため、ポイントごとの割り当てを確認しながらの積込みが重要になります。
当社のドライバーたちは倉庫担当者と密に連携し、誤配送や積み忘れを防ぐため、仕分け手順をひとつずつ丁寧に確認していきました。
エアサス車は飲料や食品の輸送に最適で、振動が少なく荷崩れの心配が大幅に減ります。
水やポカリスウェットなど液体を運ぶ際にも、非常に相性のよい車両です。
大会当日の朝。
すでに沿道はランナーやボランティアで活気に満ちています。
この雰囲気の中でも、物流の現場では “正確な時間に届ける” という役割が求められます。
神戸マラソンでは道路規制も多いため、到着時間のズレは運営に大きな影響を与えます。
当社ではドライバー全員で交通規制情報を共有し、渋滞を避けるルートを事前に確認。
予定通りに各給水ポイントへ到着し、カゴ台車をパワーゲートで安全に降ろしていきました。
パワーゲートはイベント輸送の強い味方です。
重量のある飲料や大量のバナナが載ったカゴ台車も、持ち上げる必要がなく、作業者の負担が大幅に軽減されます。
給水地点では、ボランティアスタッフの皆さんが青いジャンパー姿でキビキビと動き、ランナーのために準備を進められていました。
そんな現場の中で、当社のドライバーも運営の流れを止めないよう、荷下ろしから配置までを迅速に実施しました。
マラソンが終わっても仕事は残っています。
今度は空になったカゴ台車や不要物の回収作業です。
イベント輸送は「撤収が早い会社が信頼される」と言われるほど、撤収の手際が重要です。
道路規制の解除や会場の片付けに影響してしまうため、時間通りに回収することが求められます。
当社では、運営チームとの通信を取りながら、撤収のタイミングに合わせて各ポイントに移動。
搬入時に考えていた動線がそのまま活きたことで、非常にスムーズにカゴ台車を回収することができました。

The Kobe Marathon is one of the largest and most celebrated road races in the Kansai region. Every year, thousands of runners gather in the city, and behind the scenes, an enormous amount of preparation takes place to support them.
Among the essential items prepared for the race are water, Pocari Sweat, bananas, and various hydration supplies placed at each aid station.
This year, Neutral had the honor of handling the transportation of these crucial supplies.
We deployed several air-suspension 4-ton trucks, managing the entire flow—from pre-event loading to aid-station deliveries and post-race collection—without a single hitch.
On the day before the marathon, our trucks assembled at a large warehouse located in Maya Pier, Kobe Port.
Inside the warehouse, water, Pocari Sweat, bananas, paper cups, and other supplies were neatly arranged on roll-box pallets.
In event logistics, the accuracy of pre-event preparation determines the success of the entire operation.
With this in mind, our drivers carried out the loading process with meticulous attention, performing checks such as:
Inspecting roll-box pallets for damage
Confirming quantities for each aid station
Securing loads to prevent tipping during transportation
Reviewing traffic restrictions and confirming operational routes
The Kobe Marathon has numerous aid stations, each with its own required quantities.
To avoid mis-delivery or shortages, our team worked closely with warehouse staff, carefully labeling and arranging pallets for each delivery point.
Air-suspension trucks are ideal for beverages and food products, minimizing vibration and reducing the risk of cargo damage.
For transporting water and Pocari Sweat, air-suspension offers significant advantages.
On the morning of the event, the streets were already filled with runners, volunteers, and spectators.
Even amid this busy atmosphere, logistics teams must uphold one crucial responsibility: delivering supplies on schedule.
Because of road closures throughout the city, delays can cause major disruption to event operations.
Our team shared traffic-restriction information beforehand and selected the most efficient routes. As a result, we arrived at each aid station exactly on time and unloaded the pallets safely using power-lift gates.
Power-lift gates are indispensable for event logistics.
Heavy roll-box pallets packed with drinks or bananas can be unloaded smoothly without physically lifting them, significantly reducing the workload of staff on site.
At each aid station, volunteers in blue jackets were working quickly to prepare for the runners.
Our drivers coordinated with them efficiently, ensuring that supply placement did not interfere with the flow of operations.
Even after the runners finish, logistics work continues.
This time, our task was to collect empty roll-box pallets and leftover items.
In event logistics, the speed of post-event cleanup is as important as the delivery itself.
Delays in collection can affect the timing of road-closure lifting and venue cleanup.
Our team stayed in close communication with the event organizers and synchronized collection timing with each station’s cleanup progress.
The operational flow established during the delivery phase allowed us to conduct collection work more smoothly, and all trucks completed the job ahead of schedule.
Safety, coordination, and efficiency were prioritized throughout the entire operation—including returning the equipment to the warehouse without issue.
