大阪万博が幕を閉じたあと、世間の興味はすぐ次のイベントやニュースへと移っていく。
しかし、私にとってはここからがスタートだった。むしろ、この撤去フェーズこそ、物流会社としての真の技量や姿勢が問われる局面だと感じている。

イベントというものは「設営」「開催」「撤去」の3フェーズで成立しているが、世間が想像する以上に難易度が高いのは撤去だ。開催中には使用される事を前提に組まれた什器や展示物が、役割を終え、また世界各地へ戻っていく。その“帰りの輸送”を傷一つ付けずに完了させる。これが物流会社の評価を最も決定づける。

今回の万博では、美術品・アート作品・国際展示品・精密機器・特殊装置など、輸送難易度が高い物が非常に多かった。展示が終わり、木箱にパッキングされた作品たちを、私は関西国際空港・保税倉庫・関東エリアの施設へと輸送した。各国の文化と技術が詰まった作品を再び「本来の場所」へと戻す仕事。この責任は非常に重い。

そして私はこの仕事を通して強く確信した。
エアサス車は撤去フェーズでこそ最も価値が高い。

段差を拾わず、衝撃を吸収し、荷台全体が均一の動きで走る。この優位性は、展示物や美術品を扱う状況では「壊さない努力」を徹底的に支える。普通の荷物輸送では気にしないレベルの振動も、美術品や国際展示物では致命傷になり得る。だからこそ、私はエアサスを選び、そして今回の万博撤去輸送でも役立った。

保税倉庫案件などは輸送そのものに加えて、書類、時間、管理者との調整といった「段取りの精度」が必要になる。これが通常のチャーター便、スポット便とは別種の神経の使い方だ。荷物の価値が高ければ高いほど、小さな判断ミスが後のトラブルになる。そのプレッシャーこそ、イベント撤去輸送の現場そのものと言える。

また、万博の撤去輸送では「同時多発」も起きる。
一斉に撤去され、一斉に現場に大型車が集まり、一斉に次の目的地へ動いていく。
要は、「遅延が連鎖する」状況が発生しやすい。
一便の遅れが後続便全部に影響するシビアな世界。
私はその中で、遅延を出さず、破損も起こさず、依頼主の期待を裏切らず走り切ることに集中した。

この経験を通して私は思った。

イベント物流は“搬入の成功”では評価は決まらない。“撤去の品質”で決まる。

撤去フェーズの輸送が丁寧である会社こそ、国際展示や次の大型イベントで指名が来る。撤収は「後片付け」と思われがちだが、私は全く逆だと考えている。撤収こそ次のビジネスに繋がる営業そのものだ。

今回、私は自分の会社のドライバーたちにも、エアサスの強み、積み付けの重心管理、固定具の配置、急制動を避ける走法など、マニュアル以上に細かな感覚の共有も行った。現場の一体感と、ブランドを維持する共通言語を揃える事は、経営者が現場に対して出来る最も有効な投資だと信じている。

世界の文化・創造物・技術の象徴の数々は、また世界へ帰っていく。
そのための「出口の輸送」を担えたという事は、私にとっては物流会社としての誇りそのものである。
物流はただモノを運んでいるようで、実は人の価値観と歴史と未来を運んでいる。
誰が運んだか、どんな思想で運んだか、それは確実に積み重ねとなって次の信頼に繋がっていく。

大阪万博は終わった。
だが、イベントはこれからも続いていく。

私は次の撤去フェーズでも、エアサスと技術と経験で、確実に成果を積み重ねていく。

After the Expo: Where Logistics Truly Begins — The Real Power of Air Suspension in Post-Event Removal Transport

When the Osaka Expo ended, public attention quickly shifted to the next news, the next event, and the next trend.
However, for me, this was where everything actually began.
In logistics, the dismantling and removal phase after an event is often the point where the real capability of a transport company is tested.

Events are made up of three phases: setup, operation, and dismantling.
But contrary to what people imagine, the most complex and sensitive stage is the removal transport after everything is over. Once exhibits finish their role, they don’t simply disappear — they must be returned safely to their original destinations around the world.

For this Expo, many items required extremely delicate handling: art pieces, international exhibits, cultural objects, special devices, and precision equipment. Once the exhibition ended, these were carefully packed into wooden crates. I transported them to Kansai International Airport, to bonded warehouses, and to storage facilities in the Kanto area. There was enormous responsibility in returning the world’s cultural and artistic works to where they belonged.

And through this experience, I reaffirmed something very clearly:

Air suspension proves its highest value during dismantling logistics.

It absorbs shock, reduces vibration, and keeps the entire cargo bed stable and consistent.
In regular freight, this difference may seem small — but for art pieces and international exhibit cargo, it can be the difference between success and irreversible damage. That is why I choose air suspension, and that decision proved correct throughout this Expo removal process.

Bonded warehouse cargo transport also requires more than just logistics skills.
It demands precision in documentation, exact timing, customs coordination, and synchronization with dismantling contractors.
This is not the same mindset as ordinary charter work.
When the cargo value is high, a single small misjudgment becomes a serious problem.
This is the exact reality of post-event removal logistics.

Another major factor at Expo removal stage is simultaneous removal.
Multiple countries dismantle on the same timeline.
Trucks arrive at the same time.
And all cargo begins moving outward at once.
This means that one small delay easily causes a chain reaction across many other shipments.
During this period, I focused on running without delay, without damage, and without breaking expectations.

Through this work, I strongly felt:

Event logistics is not evaluated by the success of the inbound setup.
It is decided by the quality of the outbound removal.

A company that executes dismantling logistics with extreme care will be trusted for the next international exhibition.
Removal is not simply “cleaning up afterward.”
Removal is the real business gateway for future opportunities.

I also shared this philosophy with my drivers — the air suspension advantages, load center balance, the positions of load securing gear, and braking control to avoid unnecessary shock. Building a shared mindset and technique within the operation team is the strongest investment a CEO can make.

The artworks and technologies that gathered from around the world now return to the world again.
Having been entrusted with the final journey — the exit logistics — is something I consider a professional honor.
Logistics may seem like the movement of physical objects, but in reality we are moving history, value, and culture toward the future.
Who transports it — and with what philosophy — accumulates and converts into trust for the next project.

The Expo ended.
But events will continue.
And I will continue to accumulate results in the next removal phase, with air suspension, capability, precision, and responsibility.
